Bridgewater onsite timeline
Recently did an onsite with Bridgewater. The recruiter initially said they would update me the results within a week, but I haven’t heard back from them for around 2 weeks now.
I think I got rejected but did hope they could just send me a rejection email for closure.
Anyone interviewed recently with Bridgewater and would they send you a rejection email or just disappear? How long did it take for you to hear back from them after the onsite?
Thank you!

Update: Got rejected in the end: received a phone call from HR with the results and feedback. Overall a very pleasant interview experience - everyone I met was nice and professional. Will try applying again later.
Is this for SA27 or FT?
Full time
Just wondering if you heard back. I had a 3 week ghost period after my R1 for SA27 in Dec and then heard back in mid Jan for my R2. But these were online.
any updates?
Rejected after R3.
can I ask how they rejected you? was it just an email or was it through a zoom call?
Hey, hope all is well. About to head into R3 myself - would you mind describing a bit more about the types of questions being asked (e.g., do they get quite technical / statistical on the merits of different forecasting techniques?) Do appreciate it. Best of luck in the search process
My r3 sounded a lot different than yours. Mine was fully behavioural. Yours sounds like my R2 which was very statistical
Got it, thanks very much! Could be a bit of a change in order. Just finished the heavily statistical round and now being told there will likely be 3 more in addition.
Wtf, they must've changed it midway through. Mine was recruiter screen --> debate round --> stats interview --> personal interview --> superday
One of my interviewers mentioned that Bridgewater can be pretty inconsistent in terms of interview process, so could be the case here.
My process seems to be looking like: recruiter screen -> take home case 1 -> take home case 2 + live interview (stats round) -> live case and interview -> additional virtual interview (wasn't given much detail on what this entails) -> onsite superday
Definitely longer process than the ones I've experienced previously but am coming from MBB background so maybe this is par for course for this space and I am just unfamiliar
Based on the most helpful WSO content, it seems that experiences with post-interview timelines and communication can vary significantly. While some candidates report receiving rejection emails shortly after their interviews, others mention being ghosted entirely, even after multiple follow-ups. For example, one user shared that they were ghosted for second-round phone and final-round Skype interviews, while another noted that rejection emails were sometimes sent within minutes or hours after the interview.
In your case, since it has been two weeks without any communication, it might be worth sending a polite follow-up email to the recruiter to inquire about the status of your application. This approach can provide clarity and potentially prompt a response. However, be prepared for the possibility that they may not respond, as some firms or recruiters may not prioritize sending rejection emails.

They would send rejection email
