I interned at a family office that has no information online, but is owned by a relatively well known hedge fund manager. Can I mention whose family office it is on my resume?

I would say yes. I worked previously at a very well known family office as well. Excellent time. Use the official name of the "company" representing the family office (if there even is one). I understand the concern of employers potentially not being able to look the company up online, but admittedly have been in this position before myself, so I would say probably not to fret.
