Can you Calculate Bollinger Bands for Hedge Fund Returns Based on Weekly Estimate Values?

Hi, I'm looking for some help with regards to calculating Bollinger Bands for hedge fund returns. I know these are typically created using daily returns, however I would need to calculate them based on a weekly estimate value instead.

Is this possible, or is the daily value a necessity? Also, they would be calculated in Excel for the short-term.

Thanks in advance!
