Can you get pigeon holed in ER?
My title speaks for itself. Just curious to see if I’ll get pigeonholed if i stay too long in ER. If I need to try to get to a HF since that’s my goal. How would I do this? Thanks apes

Not really. Outside of HF, long term exits include IR, AM, CF, "strategic finance," & have seen VP's in ER transition into IB. Not all ER desks are created equal and while an Evercore or JPM ASO may have access to Citadel, Millenium, & SM's if they are phenomenal, someone at Wedbush will not.
