Canadian Big 5 Proprietary Funds
Out of curiosity, what are the roles like for proprietary investing out of the big 5 bank asset management arms?
Have heard from some people at the banks that there are teams that operate like hedge funds but the banks try to keep a low profile on them to not draw any regulatory scrutiny.
Anybody here have any experiences that would provide more colour (Comp, kind of investing, etc)?
