What are people's thoughts on the CHA? Waste of time? Valuable?
I am not currently in the field, but obviously looking to get into it. Is this just something that the hedge fund group did to capitalize on people thinking education is valuable?
Appreciate all input.
If you're going this route, just go for the CFA. It's very well-established and respected in the field.
But if I were you, I'd focus more on networking.
CHA level one looks good, I dont think you would want to do lvl 2 until you have a few years in the HF industry and know what strategy you want to pursue, since lvl 2 is strategy based.
Education = valueless, since 2009
