Last year Citadel started building up a Global macro group as a new business division. Apparently they hired some PMs from big macro fun.
Does anyone here know this group and could share some information? What's your impression? Do you think this is a long term thing or is likely this group gets shut down after a few years as I think it happened in the past to Citadel s global macro businesses? How risky would it be to move there? What's your opinion of the people working there? How's the culture? Would it be a good career move for someone with 4-7 years experience at another less well known hedge fund ?
