Citadel NYC Sponsors?

Ignore title. If a non-US resident applies Citadel for any of their FT programs (Ashler/CAP) - without US work visa - is it an auto ding? Anyone know? Or chance that if you're good enough, they'll interview / consider?

Totally appreciate local talent is vast, and very likely that they'll go with that - just wanted to check! :)

Super useful, thanks a lot. Sorry to be a little slow, so my takeaway here is that without any current visa rights (H1B, OPT) etc - someone can safely apply to the Citadel NY positions

This is very helpful, thanks a lot!

Yes, you can apply without an existing visa and if they like you they will accept you + sponsor you.

Citadel actually has an internal guy who would work with you on this if you get far enough into the process.

Not sure what your country of origin is but for example if you were Canadian they would sponsor you for a TN, put you in the H1B lottery next yr, and then move forward with a green card application assuming all the prior steps worked out.

The big pods view themselves as talent constrained and are not going to let immigration costs get in the way of getting the talent they want.

Echoing the above. Multiple buddies have been sponsored by Citadel and are on the green card path. They also start your green card process faster than some other firms (that may want to wait to evaluate your performance for say 6m-1y first to see if it’s worth the hassle).
