Cover letter for a L/S equity HF

Team,

Quick background of myself: First generation American, first language is French, went to semi-target in Texas, I was an intern at a L/S HF in Dallas, now I am doing O&G IB at a BB in Houston, but I am looking to jump back to Dallas and work for a L/S fund.

A couple of funds require a cover letter, they reiterate how diversity and unique backgrounds are important in the fund. I was wondering if someone with an IB background had a sample cover letter that I can look at that they used for their HF recruiting process. I will obviously hit the selling points of my background, but I was just wondering how individuals phrased their IB experience in their cover letters.
