DFW Hedge Funds
Australian recently graduated with an undergrads finance degree. Looking to relocate to Dallas/Fort Worth and wondering if anyone could please recommend DFW based hedge funds?

Carlson, Highland, and HBK are the big ones. Q investments is in Fort Worth but is apparently a nightmare from a cultural standpoint. There are a handful of smaller firms as well (highside, Yost, Hudson way) and family offices that do public investing (like Perot Private Investments). Citadel/Surveyor and Millennium may have a couple of teams in Dallas too but I heard they both cut quite a few people a few years back.
That's great! Thank you! Do you know if many US firms discriminate against non-US residents? For visa sponsorship purposes, etc?
