Equity Research vs Investment Banking as path into L/S Hedge Fund
Hi guys,
I was just wondering would it be better to start my career in a Bulge Bracket Investment Banking Division or a Bulge Bracket Equity Research Division in order to have the best chance of making the jump to a HF? I know Investment Banking is well regarded, but surely Equity Research is more relevant.
