Obviously we all know the background of this firm; however, what does the recruiting scene look like? Is it on a "you don't call us we call you basis" or is there some formal recruiting programs at schools? Do they even take undergrads or just concentrate on MBA or lateral hires? any additional information on strategies run/ styles would be greatly appreciated

hire out of banks for analysts (and for more senior people they also hire from banks, or poach from HFs/PE). Talk to the typical recruitiers or get in touch with someone over there (sure they have an HR department like all large HFs). They are multistrat, with a focus on equities, but obviously mix it up like everyone else (they do PE, distress, etc). I have a friend over there, he seems fairly happy
