Europe gas/ Liquefied natural gas (LNG) commodity trading companies in Europe

Hi, what are the similar companies to Vitol, Trafigura (EU gas/ LNG traders) based in Europe? Is there some sort of a public list of these companies/ HFs?

Exxon Mobil Total Shell BP Chevron ConocoPhillips Aramco Gazprom National Iranian Oil Company PDVSA Petrobras Petronas Pemex PTT Repsol Sinopec UK PetroChina Lukoil Valero ENI Phillips 66 Marathon Petroleum Engie Equinor Inpex Vitol Glencore Koch Trafigura Gunvor Mercuria Phibro BHP Noble Gorup Ames Petroleum OMV Mandara Bright Oil Concord Galana Hin Leong

Random list I put together for something at work. Mainly oil traders but most will have LNG. Also not all are EU but most will have EU desks.

Jeng's list is pretty conclusive but I'll add additional context in the form of sizing and some notes for a few of these guys:

1) Vitol traded ~7.5 mtpa of LNG in 2017 2) Trafigura 8.1 3) Gunvor ~6.0 4) Glencore ~6.0

Vitol has since surpassed Trafi in terms of volume traded as of 2018. Both Vitol and Trafi have existing LNG infrastructure and businesses operating (versus proposed for the other two). Glencore and Gunvor are far more oriented short-term whereas Trafi and Vitol have taken term offtake and are running a more globalized long/short portfolio.

A few other names I thought of that are considering jumping in: Noble, AOT Energy, BB Energy, DufEnergy and Koch

Source: work on an LNG deal structuring desk that actively sells to a number of entities mentioned here on ST and term basis.
