I have an offer to join the sustainability team of a mutual fund (100+b AUM), more specifically, one of their funds focused on global, largecap, sustainable equity. They have historically outperformed the MSCI World index.
What does a career path look like for someone starting out after uni at a place like this? Is it possible to switch to a hedgefund later on?

I dont really like big corporate environments so end goal would be to move to a smaller hedgefund / family fund as a pprtfolio manager or try to launch my own fund. Is this a possibility from a mutual fund?
