Experience working at a hedge fund selling equity to a PE firm
I work at a hedge fund (PE firm currently discussing the investment has a few synergetic portfolio companies. I don't own any equity and I wonder about the different scenarios that could play out.
Lots more to say on this but the greedy part in me:
One of the obvious benefits is that the core team gets locked in for the first 1-2 years. Can be very lucrative.....
