Factoring?
Are there any funds that specialize in factoring or do any banks do it? I have recently become very interested in it but do not know where to look. Thanks.

Career Resources
Standard Chartered is prob tops for this; BNP, Barclays, HSBC, Credit Agricole are all pretty big..
Any bank with a large trade finance division....
Assuming you mean A/R financing, pretty much every commercial bank and non-bank lenders like GE and CIT do it for large-cap and mid-market companies. I've never heard of a "fund" that factors directly though I've heard of structured credit funds investing in receivables securitizations arranged by banks. There are lots of fly-by-night companies that specialize in A/R factoring for smaller companies as well.
Thank you everyone. I have done some research on this but cannot tell, is trade finance within the investment bank or commercial bank? For instance, I am looking at the careers website for HSBC, and I don't know what division trade finance falls under. Thanks for the replies everyone.
Commercial bank as far as I've ever seen.
