Financial Transaction Tax (FTT)
Theres been talks of a financial transaction tax passing in congress. What do you guys think this is going to do to the markets? Suck the liquidity out of it / destroy it?
This actually has no chance of passing, a recent survey found that 65% of americans oppose it including a vast majority of republicans, democrats, and independents which literally never happens nowadays. Would be the most hated bill to pass in ages.
The biden LT cap gains to short term cap gains tax is more concerning cause that actually will pass and is supported.
