From PB-->HF
Hello Everyone,
I just recently accepted an offer to work as an analyst on the Private Banking/Asset Management desk at a BB. My long term goal is to work at a hedge fund and I was wondering if anyone had any advice on the matter. I am trying to position myself well for the future and I want to make sure I do not make any mistakes no that could inhibit me from achieving my dream. Just a little background: I have a 3.5 studying engineering from a non-target, but very competitive engineering school. I have had internships at HFs and IB, as well as done research in derivatives pricing.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
better off going down the equity/credit rsch route or investment banking route - v rare to go from PB to a HF,
sorry - double post
What if I get an MBA after? Would that help me?
