Fundamental equity investors London

Curious to hear what fundamental equity investors are based in London. I am referring to Baupost and the likes and not the shops that flip quarterly earnings such as Citadel, Millennium etc. Can include start-ups as well.

Thanks guys

Of the large-cap names, I would say TCI, Lansdowne and Egerton are the most respected ones, with TCI being one of the best firms globally. Then there are a bunch of well-respected firms (where founders have typically come from one of the firms mentioned above) like Pelham, AKO, Theleme, Parvus and Naya. Overall there is not that many long-term fundamental equity investors, at least not compared to NYC.

Another European fund to mention is Cevian Capital, however, they are not based in London (Stockholm and Zurich). Cevian very much follows the mould of TCI with long-term and sometimes activist investing and has one of the best track-records out there.
