Global Macro HF interview - what to expect?

Hi Monkeys,

Reaching out for some advice as I've been invited to interview at a HF (P72/Millenium/Balyasny etc) for an internship.

I presume at intern level they would not be expecting too many technicals (ie, no more than IBD SA / MF PE SA?). Presumably a stock pitch and lots of brain teasers? Perhaps mental math stuff?

If anyone has any insight on what I should do to prepare, would be immensely grateful - having interned with both IB and PE, I feel that the whole time my true interest has been in more liquid investments. Would be an excellent opportunity.

Thanks in advance!

Interviewed with one of these mms for this role. Was mostly about stats and probability and PCA and a bit about markets. I think the junior role is very focused on quant and data science based on these questions instead of trading and stuff.
