Hey all, I wanted to see if anyone had a used copy of the Glocap HF compensation report or knew how to find one. If there isn't a good way to get a used copy, I was thinking of buying the 2012 version for $1600. I don't really need to keep it forever, so would anyone be interested in buying it used from me in a few weeks (we could do the transaction somewhere secure)?
If there are licensing issues or something that would prevent this from being resold, let me know.

how is a compensation report worth $1600?
I'm willing to buy it from you for $1575 if someone else commits to buying it from me a week after for $1550.
Well I don't really think it is worth $1600. But it is worth something to me to understand how comp works across this industry as I make long term career decisions. As a one time purchase, could be a good investment if it helps me understand what my market value is.

How much detail does this report provide? Does it give hedge fund name, job title, base salary+bonus? If so, I could see how it's worth $1600, but if it's a generic report like the one you find on the web, it would be a huge waste of money.
I haven't seen this leaked anywhere (not the new version and not the old version). I think the report gives an overview of comp broken down by base/bonus based on size of fund, role, tenure, level, performance of fund, etc. It doesn't have the name of the funds in it. Google it and you can find a free excerpt.
