I don't know about the specifics, I can just report two data points of people that worked at Citi and other top BBs.

I have a close friend who worked at both Citi (before) and GS (now) (director, equity vol structuring). He says at GS you are allowed to take much more risk than at Citi, people are smarter/more motivated and they have better/larger clients (i.e for eq qis GS is probably the only bank with significant HF clients).

My sister worked at Citi first and then at JP and she says the culture at Citi was much more laid back whereas at JP they are working her much harder and everyone is more motivated/workaholic.

rates vol at citi also work a lot. you will be working 7-7 atleast.
