Good idea to send my CV via the email listed on the website?

For context, this is London/Europe. There is this really impressive fund that's growing quickly in my space, and I know for a fact they are looking to hire around my level, and are possibly already quite advanced in their process.

I am not really looking for a move but today I saw on their website that they have a prompt saying something like "we're looking for talent to help us grow etc etc" and if you click the contact us button it throws up the HR email.

Is it worth a punt? Just conscious this will go to the HR department and not the hiring manager/investor side.

Cheers

The only thing giving me pause is that you suggested that you "know for a fact they are looking to hire around my level".

How do you know this? If you have an introduction from a friend or recruiter (if that's where you got the information), then that would be better than a cold call / email. Otherwise, I'd just agree with other posters to go for it - very limited downside.
