Got a MM offer 3 months into IB

I got a MM offer 3 months into my IB BB job. I wanted to do PE -> HF but not sure if I should accept. I think I’d like the short term nature of MMs but should I leave IB before fully ramping up? It’s a sector I like and the pm seems invested in junior development

Honestly seem like a pretty risk on move. Could work out but if it doesn't could derail things.

Assuming you have a good school and are at a good bank, which I imagine you are, opportunities will continue to present themselves. From my understanding, MM shops are super volatile and I think 3 months of IB doesn't give you much of a fall back if things don't work out. Leaving for a more stable HF or PE would be different. I don't think there is a right and wrong answer, its personal, but I wouldn't make a snap decision.
