got to citadel discovery assessment centre--hopeless candidate?

Hi, I know this is a bit ridiculous, but I fired off a Citadel Discovery application in October and ended up getting invited to their assessment centre. I thought it was a bit of a long shot when I applied, but having checked them out more they seem WAY too quanty for me.

I'm a Humanities student and while my maths skills are passable enough for most IB assessments I for sure don't have quant-level anything... I'm unsure if there's any point in going? I feel I'd just make an idiot of myself, and if there's any sort of collaborative exercise I'd be a dead weight to my team.

Has anyone ever done any of these? Are the questions more logic problems, or will they all require degree-level maths?

I know this is all a little stupid. I'm lost in all this and any advice would be so helpful.

Stop fretting and go already. Your resume had something that caught their attention so you were invited and therefore by definition belong there.

What do you have to lose? Do you think the other imposter syndrome kids will have time to laugh at you? They’re all busy having an anxiety attack.

Take a deep breath, prepare a bit, remember to showcase your strengths and stop acting like a little girl. Tough it out and go get what’s yours. You have plenty of time to worry about looking stupid when you’re on the job. And if in the interview it’s clearly not for you but you impress some other way, you can always ask them to consider you in a different track.

By the way, despite what this board believes there’s plenty of humanities majors who end up crushing it on the job
