Handling HH Outreach
HH reached out about an opportunity that I am very interested in but candidly I just don’t feel ready to interview for it (different line of work than I’m currently doing). Is there benefit to having the call and letting them know I’m very interested in those types of opportunities but not planning to take interviews for a few months while I prepare / improve my candidacy? Or is that a trash idea and they’ll cross me off the list for future opportunities?
if you are interested, just tell them I need to wait a few months before I'm ready to leave my current role so let's keep in touch. extract as much information as you can to prepare yourself to be a better candidate.
