Headhunter call

Had an intro call with a headhunter a couple of weeks ago, which led to a call with a Business Development person at a HF. On the call with the headhunter, I told him that I'm flexible on timing. However, the truth is I'm really looking to stay at my current firm for another year or two. I told him I was flexible because it was my first call with a headhunter and I didn't want to lose this connection. After the call with BD, the headhunter followed up, and I told the HH the truth that I want to stay 1-2 years. He just told me that "in the future to let him know, and it probably caught the BD person by surprise." Wondering if I jeopardized the connection with the headhunter and the HF, or if I'm just overthinking. Has anybody had a similar situation?

funny how you call "miscommunication" a straight-up lie, is that how you miscommunicate with your gf? ahahaha. All jokes aside, you are fine for the Headhunter part, a headhunter isn't actually a valuable connection, if you are good they are the ones fcking spamming your inbox
