Have had inbounds from headhunters for L/S equity platforms in London, but nothing outside. God knows why anyone would use a headhunter for the pod shops. Has anyone come across recruiters that place PMs for directional shops?

To state the obvious, there are not many "directional" shops offering PM seats out there. Directional tends to be SM which, as the name says, is just one PM.
Add junior PMs/ senior Analysts to this. Latter earn very well at some SMs.
There are a number of non pod seats. Don’t know to what extent a Davidson Kempner is considered an SM but it’s not a pod. Don’t know if they pay all that well. Don’t think senior analysts are clipping >$1m every year easily. In a good year yes but guessing it’s more 600-800k in an ok year.
Gosh European headhunters are really ** compared to their US counterparts. I guess the hiring in Europe is bilateral.
