Hedge Fund Job Advice

I recently had an interview with a long/short deep value fund. The team is fairly small (think 10) and I had an interview with their PM. The interview was entirely behavioral/fit. Towards the end, he told me that I can shadow their analysts for a day to get a feel of what they do on a daily basis.

I understand that there isn't a structured interview process for hedge fund analyst positions but I wanted to make this post because I'm curious where this process could move on from this point and how I can maximize my chances at getting a job at this fund.
