Hedge Fund to MBA

I really enjoy public equities investing but know that investing at a hedge fund is very different from an individual or school fund setting. As a result, I am thinking of going to business school down the line as a backup plan in case I want to pivot. Does going to a hf after undergrad limit my outlook for top business school admissions? I would appreciate any advice on this subject.
