Help! Impossible career move? HF Opportunity
Hi! After working for a few years in a company that provides marketing services for Asset Management groups I have now the opportunity to join a small Quant Hedge fund in a 3rd rate European city.
So the choices are:
- Continue in London as a leader in this marketing services firm.
- Move to say Valencia, Spain / Nice, France and work in the back office of a startup Quant Hedge Fund being in charge of operational matters and sales support.
Would I be able to move to a financial capital with ease?

What is your end goal careerwise? Sounds super sus joining a startup fund in a random ass city in back office no less. Too much risk and too many things can go wrong for not nearly enough career upside. Stay in London.
