HF Interview Preparation from IB

Currently a HC analyst at a NYC MM nearing the end of my second year. I’m interested in a potential exit to a hedge fund role, as I’ve had promising conversations recently with recruiters looking to fill HC-focused seats. Assuming I have no markets knowledge outside of that which you gain in the normal course of working in IB, how much time should I expect to spend on interview preparation before I’m ready to roll? Just looking for a reality check here. Is this something that can be done within a week? A month? I’ll be studying alongside my day job in IB, of course.
