I've been recruiting for hedge funds and recently, I've been coming across a weird situation. The initial conversation with the fund goes well and I confirm a 2nd conversation in the interview process. A few days later, I get hit with a rejection email. Do people know what they even scheduled the follow-up call in the first place? I'm just finding it odd that this is happening so frequently.
