How do sell-side react to buy-side internships?
Hello everyone. I am a sophomore at non-target studying mathematics and finance. Currently interning for an event-driven hedge fund and previously interned for a L/S equity hedge fund. Next year I will be applying for BB internships (S&T) and curious to know how well do buy-side internships look on CV when screened by sell-side HRs? Can HF internships give me an edge? Any thoughts on this? Thanks.
This is pretty much the same as asking "does PE look good on a CV for IB internships"?

Does it give you an edge? Over not having an internship - sure. Over anyone else? Who's to say.
