IB Credit Risk to Buyside (Debt)

Hi all (reposting this as the other post got swallowed up in the IB forum)

(a) As above, how possible is the move to either liquid credit / private credit? and (b) Do you suggest lateralling to IB Lev Fin (will be under a CIB umbrella) as an intermediate step.

Potentially moving into IB Credit Risk at a BB where credit risk mainly has a review and approve function (model, credit paper, etc. are handed off to IB / CB). I would still have access to DD, models, etc. but would mainly be offering an independent opinion on the counterparty / transaction.

I've done a LinkedIn search and have reached out for advice on the above as well - just wanting to see whether WSO has any examples that could corroborate my findings.

Thanks in advance!
