IB -> Derivatives @ Multi-Strat HF?

Incoming FT AN1 at a solid coverage group for an EB. Have become interested in equity derivative strategies particularly at Cit, Mill, BAM, etc. as my next step after banking. Curious what a path to that might look like and how recruiting would potentially look? Thanks

For reference have a dual degree finance/STEM, solid resume but from non-target. Moderate coding experience and strong statistics background.

Why did you pursue IB coverage vs IB Structured Product or S&T if you wanted to trade derivatives at a multi-strat? Is this a recently developed interest?

Yes recently developed. I recruited for the internship for my FT role nearly ~2 years ago at this point. Have developed some new interests since and have been wanting to explore what is out there.
