JD CFA GC Role
Hi all I currently am a funds associate at a v20 firm in ny. I love my work but miss business side of things and am thinking in house at a hedge fund is where I’d like to end up. My thought process is study and take the cfa exams and coupled with work experience I should be able to get a decent in house gig and then get the work experience for the designation. I’d imagine this would help when trying to become general counsel. Does anyone think this is a waste? Not trying to change professions, just tailor mine to what I want from it.
