Due to visa reasons may be having to move to London soon. Currently IB associate but have wanted to make the jump for a while. Have had good traction with MMs in the past but visa stuff got in the way.
Would appreciate if anyone has an up to date read on what the recruiting market is like in London right now

Big platforms do most of the hiring. Fewer opportunities in L/S in London for obvious reasons, so fewer seats as a result too. A lot of PMs running subscale books too.
May I ask how's the L/S trend for all EU?
Recruitment’s been decent lately across the MMs…seeing a few seats open, particularly in Consumer and TMT. Most other sectors, especially Utilities/Infra, are pretty quiet. 2025’s been a tough year overall for London hiring, but there are still a few pockets of activity if you look in the right places.
