Looking for unique insight/additional resources on firms focusing on "global events" like Hayman Capital or Universa Investments
Long story short I am looking to leave my job at a fixed income firm and have a good opportunity to lateral into a position at a firm similar to those mentioned above (not a cookie-cutter buy/sell stocks and wait a year or more). I have a couple contacts in the field--it's just incredibly difficult to find unique information on these types of firms because they are so rare, with 10 employee offices. Where can I learn more about their strategy, interviewing, etc? If anything, I'd like to know exactly how any of these more unique HF's make money. Thanks for any tips!
