Looking to talk to a short hedge fund analyst/manager about equity research

I'm hoping to chat (ever so briefly) with someone from a short hedge fund.

I have an opportunity to join an independent equity research firm in a sales role. However, I want to make sure their product is either:

a) valuable to the target market, aka short hedge funds

Or

b) well-known in the industry

The firm is Gradient Analytics/Sabrient Systems.

Any insight or advice would be helpful beyond your wildest imagination.
