Don't know much about Luxor but Hoplite is a top-notch shop, $3-4bn AUM last I heard. L/S equity primarily, technically a tiger cub. Founded by guy who worked for Julian Robertson/Viking Global. Generally speaking, they tend to fly more under the radar than some other L/S equity shops but don't let that fool you. Guys are sharks
