Macro data source

Quick question on if this would be useful to anyone in the HF industry:

  1. In a former life, I did academic research on wage inflation.
  2. As part of this research, I found some leading indicators of wage inflation from the current population survey (CPS), if you do some significant data work on the raw CPS numbers.
  3. Does anyone here think this would this be useful to inform hedge fund trading strategies? If I re-coded up this data work and standardized the product, do you think that this data would be something that HFs would be interested in? If so, could I monetize this?
