Market check on compensation
I work at a long-biased fund that gets paid on relative performance to a benchmark. Because job is somewhat more stable, total pay is correspondingly lower vs hedge fund peers. About 6-7 years of work experience, few years on the buyside. Would love to get a sense for what others are getting paid or if there is a compensation report, guess everyone is feeling a little underpaid right now but would love to get a sense for the market + whether I should be looking

At a similar type fund. What was your total comp in '21?
bump
It would help if you post your comp. DSP just put out a report for HF pay. Someone with 5+ yrs buyside experience had a 815k median, 525k 25th percentile and 1.5m 75th percentile total comp in 2021.
I got their email but didn't participate in their survey. Do you mind sharing some really rough stats from the survey? I'm personally very curious. But, more importantly, I think that a lot of people on here would find it helpful as well.
See below with the following survey characteristics:
2021 total comp by years of experience (25th / Median / 75th)
2021 total comp by AUM (25th / Median / 75th)
Think the YOE above are years on HF side or in the shop, relatively few ppl go directly into HF upon graduation. typically IB / PE type roles first
