MBA public markets roles for those w/o experience
Anyone know of any reputable / institutional L/S or long-only funds (equity) that are open to recruiting MBAs without front office finance experience?
For example, I see a high number of BB IB MBA associates whose pre-MBA work exp is in something completely unrelated to the job. However, it seems like every single Fidelity / T Rowe / HF recruit out of MBA did either IB / PE / consulting prior, all of which are related to company analysis.
If I don't have a traditional background, is it possible to recruit for one of those roles out of an M7?
