Min ADTV for an activist to get involved
For an activist to build a say 5% in a stock, how many days would they want to accumulate this over? Should the calculation be done based on like one-third or one-half the ADTV?

LOL at 1/3 ADV you are massively moving the stock price. Depends on the urgency of the situation, but on most non-urgent situations, traders aim to stay under 10-15% of ADV.
Wow ok. I guess you would employ a similar rubric if trying to compute days to unwind a short position (if it goes against you), so 15% tops?
