Contemplating signing an offer for a CA based SM. I’m currently at a MM team also based in CA. I’ve heard conflicting things about how enforceable non-competes / notice period are. How much leverage do I have now in CA to negotiate this period down? I’m shooting for 4-6 weeks (vs standard 6 month notice period) which I realize is aggressive.
