moving from strategy role at a large tech company to a quant strategy role at a large fund

I'm in the process of getting a formal offer for a Quant Strategy role at a mega fund in New York and am currently at a large tech company in the Bay area in their Corporate Strategy team. I've worked for 3.5-4 years now since graduating in 2015. What are some things I should be wary of with regards to the offer (apart from industry etc.)/the actual duties of the job and would you recommend the switch?
