My manager wants me to take female hormones and sign a contract before my promotion ????

I work at this kind of a big fund for more than 3 years, and I'm about to get promoted. A few days ago, my manager asked me to take female hormones, and sign a contract before the promotion. I thought he was joking but obviously he's serious. I still can't believe this is real and for the last couple of days I literally feel so fucking weird and numb. When I asked the reason, he told me that these hormones makes traders more ''rational/calm'' and this way losses become minimal and the fund performs better.

Is this real/normal ? Am I dreaming ? I've asked some of the other traders at the firm, and they don't want to talk about it because of the contract.

I swear to god, I'm not fucking joking nor this is a troll post.

This is definitely a troll post. OP claims this procedure is put into a formal contract, but such a contract constitutes formal evidence of gross abuse by the employer (it is surely illegal to pressure employees into transitioning). OP's boss would never put into a contract that he wants to feed his traders estrogen. Besides, the whole idea of trading performance improving during a gender transition is totally bananas. The mental instability caused by taking sex-change hormones would be enormous and definitely unhelpful for trading performance.

So yeah, unless this employer is completely nuts, it's as clear a troll post as can be, folks! lol

my dad's friend did economics PhD at Duke, and he was talking about a rumor that big firms forcing traders to take estrogen. i was like hell nahh, but if this aint a troll post, lol
