Need Career Path Advice

I'm currently a 2nd year analyst in IB but am considering two very different career paths: Hedge Fund analyst roles or Entrepreneurship.

I know they are basically complete opposites but they both seem pretty appealing for different reasons. I feel like I still have a lot to learn before starting a company if I go down that route, so I am thinking of jumping to the HF industry now to see how I like that career, but at the same time it might make sense to go into consulting or product management to build some operational skills. I am leaning towards trying to make the jump to a HF now since the move would be way harder down the line if I don't do it now.

I few questions I have are: Would be possible to work at a HF, leave to start a business, and if it fails, to return to the HF industry again? Does working at a Multiple Manager fund exit well to business school? Finally, I assume the answer is no, but are there any exits from HFs to Product Management and/or strategy consulting?

I'm pretty passionate about investing but not 100% if I want to do it for the rest of my career.

I've been putting my money in the market since I was 13. During my time in IB, I constantly scan our comps file for companies I think are undervalued and do a little background research on them even though I'm only allowed to invest in ETFs.
