Need Help: Undergrad Fordham Gabelli School or University of Illinois Statistics Major? Help!

Which one do you think would get me on a better track to landing a job in IB or HF post undergrad? Am I screwed with both either way? UIUC offers an IB Academy which tends to place a lot every year in Chicago and NY IB, but fordham seems to have a lot of networking opportunities.

My goal is to end up in finance, but I like statistics because of its many applications. I feel like it would give me a nice quant base in my education, but do you think I can land IB with a stats degree? I am a high school senior and i have been interested in finance for a while now and just recently started investing a small amount of money (mostly looking at large caps+ so I can build a track record with liquid companies and a scaleable strategy).
